Bitcoin is a powerful financial tool — but with great freedom comes great responsibility. As more people enter the world of cryptocurrency, ensuring your Bitcoin stays safe from hackers, scams, and accidental loss becomes crucial.

1. Use a Hardware Wallet

Hardware wallets like Ledger and Trezor are physical devices that store your Bitcoin offline, making them far less vulnerable to online attacks. Treat this wallet like a digital safe for your coins.

2. Never Share Your Private Keys

Your private key is the master key to your funds. Anyone with access to it can take your Bitcoin instantly. Never email, screenshot, or upload it to any cloud storage service.

3. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Use 2FA on all crypto exchanges and wallets. Prefer an authenticator app over SMS for added security. This extra step may feel small, but it’s one of the strongest deterrents against hackers.

4. Beware of Phishing and Scams
